I've never seen the Ocean and I'm going to run into the waves at Ocean Shores, Washington!

Our longtime friends from South Dakota, Dan and Linda Bartos and their son Brennan made their first visit to the beach at Ocean Shores last month.  Brennan had never seen the Ocean before and kept telling his dad that he was going to surf when he arrived.  Their trip happened to be scheduled the week we had a cold snap & snow and the temperature was about 20 degrees when we stopped at the beach.  He tore off his shoes and socks and ran as fast as he could to the water!  The look on his face upon entering the ice cold waves was priceless!  Enjoy the pictures.

So the water was extremely cold but the beach combing was good!  Brennan went home with shells and agates and great memories of the Ocean.
