New Years Resolution

By

I must admit that I was a runner for many years when I was younger. From about 15 years old to 18 years old I ran in a race almost every weekend and ran 20-30 miles a week. I had dresser drawers full of race shirts. Now at 36 years old with a shoulder surgery, back surgery,  and gall bladder removal, all in the last 18 months, running is difficult. I've made a resolution this year to run the Crescent City Classic in April and, if I don't get another injury, the Mardi Gras Marathon in 2010.

I really want to run the Leadville Marathon but I have to convine my wife to take a vacation to Colorado, so I can run a race. I think this scenario is unlikely.

Happy New Year to all and good running in 2009.

Great goals Christopher.... running can make you stay on track, but do take care of yourself regarding other health concerns....... keep us updated.
