For those of you who use LG VX9100 Env 2 like I do, here is a little tip for you to sync your phone with your outlook.

Well, first, neither LG or Verizon offers any sync functionality for this phone. They claim it is not a smart phone.

I have been using a free software called Bitpim(click to go to its website) to sync my outlook with my phone. Here is what you need:

1, your computer needs to have a blue-tooth card, either built-in or external.

2, of course, you need to download bitpim from the above website and install it.

That is it.

To sync, do the following:

1, first, pair your phone with your computer through bluetooth.

2, open bitpim and click file>import from outlook to import contacts or calendar or task or notes.

3, sync with your phone.

The only drawback is that for every sync, bitpim will trigger a reboot of the phone. For me it is fine as I only sync about a few times a week. But I got to keep all my calendar in my phone!
