OK, I know that Christmas has just passed.  Sooooo, stuff is on sale.  Its time to get ready for a Valentine's Day popby.   I was just reading the blog post by Penny Hull and I realized the cards I have been making this past weekend are just what I need add a little candy and its a treat.

SO here is the idea...  small clear plastic gift bags, craft stores sell them for about $2-3 for 50, and fill them with Hershey's Kisses or those fun valentine sayings candy, and put a tag on the gift bag.

Tags can be made on your computer, words, sentences and then just print and cut apart.  A whole sheet can be done in a few minutes.

Here's what I'm going to put on mine: Be MY Valentine... Please let me know ASAP as I have some backups in mind.  Happy Valentine's Day.

Now you don't need to put that, do whatever you would like.. just a simple to and from is good.  The thing is.. its a personal popby.  Anyone can do it.  Cheap cheap cheap.  Oh I should say, inexpensively. :)

Share your ideas, since its a month away we have time to get really creative.

Larry, I love counting toward holidays.  It keeps me in the festive mode. And you forgot ST Patricks Day is in March.  :)

Connie, your welcome, the bags can be purchased at Target, WalMart, Joann's, Michaels or various other places.  Price them first .. the prices can vary a whole bunch!

Thanks, Gail, for the reminder! Good idea!  I'll bet we could even find some other neat "red" items on sale now at some stores that could be used as well!  And pop-bys are definitely on my radar as well for this 1st quarter of the year. Awesome!

Gail, nice post!  I noticed that our Walmart was busy changing over the card and seasonal sections last week.  Thanks for the early reminder, give me time to work on some things!

Great idea, we also check out the Dollar Tree. They have great thinks that can also be added to valentine cards or bags. Thanks for sharing.

Coming up with creative ideas like this is half the battle. Execution is the other half. They can't hire you if they don't know you are there. Thanks Gail!

GAil ~ A great idea, sounds like you are a very organized person.  Something that I am striving for...Orginization.  I started doing popbys  in December and they were very well recieved.  I am going to purchase scratch off lottery tickets to use as popbys for January.

I am working on this month now.  Got to get a bunch out.  Do you ask for business in your tagline?  I love Valentine's Day!  Chocolate is a necessity!

Thanks for the reminder!  One of my goals this year is to be more organized.  My weakness is thinking that far ahead.  I am adding Buy Kisses to my list of to do's for this week.

Gail,

You are WAY ahead of my creativity.  And yes, it will be Valentine's Day before we even realize.
