Well, "Procrastination" is obviously on the bottom of my important "2009 Resolutions" list, however, I am determined to succesfully improve many aspects of my life and career in 2009.

Getting off to a slower start will not hinder my efforts and I am looking forward to an exciting and prosperous new year!

What resolutions are on your list?

Lose weight?

Stop smoking?

Follow through on your business plan?  Did you even complete your 2009 business plan?

Be a better Agent, Broker, Stager or Inspector?

Spend more time with Family?

Be a better Friend, Sister, Brother, Mom or Dad?

Do you decide on the one you think is most important and focus only on that or do you make a list of many resolutions to work hard at?

What steps will you be taking to assure guaranteed success?

I'm not much for "Resolutions" as I am for new goals for 2009. It is important for me to plan ahead for the coming year and set goals in my family life, spiritual life, health, and work life.

Long ago we stopped with resolutions and just try to do the best we can at staying positive and remembering what is really important at the end of the day.

Tina, I quit smoking 6 days ago cold turkey which was my #1 resolution.  I am pumped for 2009 and was happy to close the books on 2008.

Integrity Mortgage-  I guess I am grouping together resolutions and goals, but it sounds as though you've figured out what's important.

Patty- That's probably less stressful.  Good luck in 2009!

Dean- Congratulations!!!!  Now that you've typed it and it's there...you'll have to stick with it!  Good luck to you and have a great 2009!

I'm just committing myself to stay positive and expect the best outcome in every situation rather than the worst. I simply have to believe this is going to be the best year yet for all of us. :)

Hi Tina !

Like Peggy, for me it's all about staying positive no matter what.

Tough to always paint on a smile when a few things start going wrong, but I believe positivity will lead you on the path to success - especially in our industry.

... positivity, and following up promptly with all leads that come your way

All the best for '09 !

A few years ago I made a resolution not to make resolutions, but alas this change of year was a little different for all of us.  So I resolved to NOT ever complain again about being busy.  So there you have mine... and I plan on staying busy and not complaining about it.  So far so good... we had a great weekend.

I'm resolving to take better care of myself by eating better and exercising regularly. I found that, when I wrote out goals for 2009, they are all acheivalbe IF I just had more strength and energy to do them.

Hi Tina, I didn't make any New Years Resolutions this time.  Just looking forward to a prosperous and healthy 2009!  Best wishes to you and yours also.

Like most mine is to get myself back into shape.  I have a plan to make a plan that will work and when I figure that out I will follow through.  I do have an appointment with my doctor to get things started

Tina - My business goal is to do better than 2008 and become a broker.  I should be able to achieve both as I have been preparing since the end of 2008.  Many things I implemented toward the end of 2008 should help me improve business, marketing, and overall customer satisfaction in 2009.

My personal goal is to be sure Im more available to my family.  Not to say I had an issue with this in 2008.  Luckily in our line of work, we can make our own schedule and be available when needed.  But, I did find myself working many hours to ensure loans were closing.  I'll still be available, but perhaps more focused to ensure things are done during the day and not carry over to the evening.

Hi, Tina! My resolution is to work less (smarter, not harder, anyway) and get more involved in music again! Dancing, playing drums, maybe marching band.

Cheers,

Robin

My goals are to work with only my ideal clients in 2009! And of course to increase quality time spent with family.  Nice post!
