Malpractice, crooked attorneys or just a mistake?

 In June of 2007 my wife (Nu Nu War) was rear ended by a truck while merging on the freeway in Las Vegas, Nevada. There was a police report written on the incident and the driver of the truck was (Theodore Kretuzer).

 Case #A546938

 We hired attorney (Craig Kenny & Associates) in Las Vegas one week after the incident. It was almost 6 months before Craig Kenny's office contacted us about the incident.

 In April of 2008 my wife and I traveled to Myanmar (Burma) to visit her family. We stayed in Myanmar for 2 months because a hurricane hit Myanmar and destroyed the city where Nu Nu's family lives.

 When we were in Myanmar, Craig Kenny's office continued to contact me and set up appointments for her case. We missed several and Craig Kenny's office became very upset because my wife was still in Myanmar with her family.

 Attorney (Bradley Kenny), Craig Kenny's brother became very upset when I spoke with him over the phone and threatened to drop our case because we missed another meeting. Craig Kenny's office dropped our case and so we looked for another attorney to represent us. We could not find anyone that would.

 We were never contacted about court hearings and we received several letters from attorney (Damon Schuetze) in Las Vegas that represented the defendant Theodore Kretuzer.

 Without Nu Nu War ever appearing in court, attorney Damon Schuetze had the case dismissed by the (Honorable judge Jackie Glass) in District Court - Clark County, Nevada.

 My wife Nu Nu can not understand how a case can be dismissed without her being present.

 And now attorney Damon Shuetze is trying to collect $11,500.00 dollars from my wife Nu Nu for his fees. On top of that my wife Nu Nu has received letters from other greedy attorneys wanting money.

 What's going on here? My wife gets rear ended by someone and she has to pay. The insurance company (Allied Insurance) does not want to pay medical bills or anything else. What do we even have insurance for?
