Hillsborough County Real Estate Report - Single Family and Condominiums

Real estate sales continued to decline with homes and condos falling and the average sales prices continuing downward.   The most significant statistic was the -40% drop in the number of condominiums sold in 2008 as compared to 2007.  Average sales prices fell -5.5% to $192, 124.   The days on market increased significantly from 95 DOM to 143. 

The average selling price for single family homes dropped 9% to $281,084 from $308,807 in 2007.  There were 13.2% fewer homes sold in 2008 and the DOM increased slightly from 105 to 111.  These statistics were similar to the statewide averages reported in the New Hampshire Real Estate report for 2008.pictureGraph
