While many of my counterparts are still out on the town, my New York minute is about to come to an end for the first night of Inman Connect. As I sit overlooking Times Square where the New Year's ball is still standing, I can't help but anticipate all the excitement and wonder that this New Year will bring and what better way to get the ball rolling than by spreading ideas at Inman.
Beer and Bloggers was fantastic, as always. Well, technically it was only my second 'BB' but both have been great ;-) I met a ton of amazing people all with brilliant ideas that I can't wait to see hit the marketplace. It always amazes me the level of talent, creativity and skill that can be packed into such a small room. The energy it creates is truly an experience to be had.
A special thanks to Rudy with Trulia for a wonderful opening night party. And a 'thank you' to the Active Rain crew for getting me to the party without freezing to death! You guys are the best :-)
Tomorrow starts the first round of seminars as well as the inaugural Digital Video Summit which I am most excited to attend. I'll be sure to report back on the discussions, ideas and ah-ha moments of the day. If this first night is any indication of the ideas about to be presented, we are all in for a treat.
