The information in this video is not only fascinating but also challenges the imagination.

The original creator of this work, Karl Fisch is a
teacher at a high school in Colorado.  He has

It's an interesting watch and well worth five
minutes of your time.  There are several
versions out there, but I like the faster pace
in this one........ENJOY!!!

Gail-WOO HOO ME FIRST! LOVE IT! See that eyeball I guess I got that aimed right at Fla. How are you? It is really strange what happened with Debi B. I thought she was only going for a week. Hope she is OK. I miss that fellow blonde. Are you past your nasty bug? Hope so. This was a fascinating video. Wow! Maybe I should have a computer chip installed in my head! Now theres a scary thought especially for G.W. the cookies monster.

BTW Since I'm first that rascally cowboy will see this and you know what he denies all wild happenings at your party.

YEAH RIGHT!  You have yourself a beautiful day. Sun is shining here but it chilly at only 40 degrees. I know it's a lot warmer there so don't even rub it in. BTW-It was Europe. Smart Lady. Anymore details you'll have to wait for the next chapter.  LOL

BYE DAHLING! Later my dear friend.

Hi Gail, I had seen another version of this a few years ago or whenever it first came out. It really does make you think with all the numbers. How come Pat gets her comment in BOLD?? She is a hard one for me to keep up with these days.

That was an incredible video.  Thank you for sharing that. I hope you have had a wonderful day. Mine has been busy but productive. Have a great evening.

Mary - HELLO - I feel so lost without my taskbar. I've seen it happen to others and even commented that the bar was missing on their blogs, but this is the first time I've been without it on my blog, so I cannot BOLD, underline, italic ~ NAda. Suffice it to say, glad you stopped by and I'll visit you shortly :-)

Hi Gary- I think I was most blown away by how insignificant the United States is in the Global picture of "having it all"!!!  I'm not trivializing our importance in the big picture...just underscoring our own self-importance.  There is so much more out there to be aware of...and pretty soon (if not now) these countries will demand their due!

Hey my task bar is back...even if the window is very, very, small!!!

Gail - The information is fascinating!  Obviously this is an innovative teacher who wants to give his students a 'world view'.  I've seen the video before but didn't look at it as carefully as I did this time around - well worth the time.  Good post!

DON'T BOTHER READING BELOW------THIS IS THE RESULT OF NO TASKBAR. I'VE SEPARATED THE COMMENTS BELOW IN INDIVIDUAL RESPONSES. THIS IS QUITE INCONVENIENT :( Hi Russell - Sorry...can't highlight your name...I'm having another case of the missing taskbar. Thanks for stopping by and I'm glad you found this interesting. Do you like David Bowie? Hi Sharon Lee - Best wishes for the new semester. With my sister leaving Sunday, things will start returning to normal with me as well. Have a super weekend! Hi Don - Was this the version you saw the first time. I did start to look at another version, but found it very s-l-o-w!!! It is very interesting to say the least. Hi Sharon - I'm feeling terrific....thanks so much for asking. You're right, I think if we don't make an effort to keep up, even in small ways, we will surely get left behind. Scary thought!!! Hi Toula - I think it means, we just have to keep on keeping on (another song) Hi Bruce and Mary - I feel the same way. I believe he's a math teacher and mathematicians tend to see the world in different terms than us mere mortals. Thanks everyone for visiting and commenting, always appreciated. Good weekend ALL :-)

Hi Gail, glad you are feeling better and yes I am a David Bowie fan going way back to Ziggy Stardust. I saw him at the US Festival in San bernadino in 1983 and it was an incredible show 9and a wild adventure shared with my zany brother).. The guitarist on the album for that tour (he did not tour with the band) was none other than Stevie Ray Vaughn, the Austin guitarist!  Have a great weekend, now it's my turn to be under the weather. I went through one of those scratch tests for allergies and just got home and as the mnutes go by I am more miserable. I am just going stay up as long as possible and then conk out til tomorrow!

Aww Russell - I'm sorry that bad bug bit you...it's not fair and it's not funny!!! I have allergies as well, so I understand what you're feeling. I have found that a new nasal spray called Veramyst has been quite helpful for environmental allergies, ask your doctor if it might be helpful for yours........................I would put a paragraph here but if I do it will all run together anyway..............................I was listening to Ziggy Stardust today and for some reason you popped into my head :-)............................To help you feel better..................say this fast 10 times.............................THE BIG BAD BUG BIT THE BIG BAD BEAR AND MADE THE BIG BAD BEAR BLEED.................................and if the black bug doesn't make you feel better.......................try............................SHE SLIT A SHEET, A SHEET SHE SLIT, I SWEAR SHE SLIT A SHEET.......................hehehehe

Hi Gail-You know me I read all your comments(just like you)so I loved what you said to Rusty(aka Russell)> Never heard that one before with the big bad bug. I love it. I'm sorry to hear Russell's not feeling well ,but glad you are doing better. It must have been a lot of fun having your sister visit. I'm glad you had the time together. I hope that task bar gets fixed I've never had a problem YET but I never say never. I really hope Debi is OK. Seems like if she was back she would stop in quick and at least say HI so I will be keeping her in my prayers til we know she is OK. I know with this market, it has all of us a little chaotic I just hope nothing happened. She is such a sweet and beautiful soul just like you. Of course I think you are a tad wilder. LOL Unlike me, HA HA funny HUH!  That other little slogan or whatever you call it I have a slightly different version. It goes like this:

" I SLIT A SHEET, A SHEET I SLIT, UPON THE SLITTED SHEET I SIT!"  Good thing you didn't have to say that 10x fast when you were sick.  Well I must be going. Have a great evening and a great weekend. :-)

Hi Gail!  I've seen this before but, watched in its' entirety because those stats are updated and they just never cease to amaze me!  The one about what college students learn in their first year regarding technology (being outdated by their Junior year) REALLY bothers me--could we have a new 10-year degree in an attempt to catch up with technology?  My thoughts are that alot of colleges are going to have to start saving their technology courses until the very end--senior year!  Unless, of course, they're tech majors--then, it's a 10-year degree, I suppose!  LOL

The number of births in China and India are also astonishing--as is the stat regarding the 50-million reach--I'm wondering if Twitter is going to beat the Facebook 2-year record?!

Thanks for sharing this and glad you're feeling better!

Hi Debi - Do you know how often the stats are updated? I don't think this version is from Mr. Fisch, and may not get those updates. I'll pay closer attention when I watch it again. Thanks for stopping by, hope you had a great weekend.

Hi Russell - Happy to hear you're over the reaction you had to the testing. Are they going to start you on shots, or new meds. Don't forget about the nasal spray, works very well...might even help with your tongue-twisters ;-)
