After many many requests for additional classes, flexible schedules, more personalized property focus - coupled with the State's heavy budget cuts at the college, we have decided to privatize our entire teaching program and outreach permanently. Our most familiar class, which Keith has taught for over 10 years now at Sierra College was: AG118 focuses on ranch & rural property development, that includes: site evaluation, soil evaluation, irrigation system selection, design and management, pond construction and management, pasture evaluation, establishment and/or rehabilitation, rural fire safety and much more. Most of our students are new and seasoned rural property owners, realtors, farmers, ranchers and natural resource specialists from Nevada, Placer, Sierra, Yuba & El Dorado Counties. . . . Will now be taught by Keith Crabtree and me in a more intimate venue without the classes minimum student enrollment restrictions or strict time constraints put on by the college, in the past. Our new classes will be tuned to the class that is enrolled at a given point. |
