Chances are you are looking for a real estate agent if you are reading this blog post. This can be a difficult question becuase not all real estate agents are created equal.
The first thing you will want to do is clearly define what your needs are. That way you can find someone who specializes in the area you are most intrested in.
For Example if you have Myrtle Beach Condos or intrest in buying a Myrtle Beach Foreclosures you will want an experienced agent that can take care of these things for you. Buying a foreclosure can be a long difficult process and for someone with little or no experience dealing with banks you will be at an extreme disadvantage.
If you are selling a property going into foreclosures and you need to do a short sale, that is a whole new problem. Many agents seem to be avoiding short sales like they are an uncureable desease. The reason for this is that they are difficult to do, they require 10times as much paperword as a normal transaction, it could take 3 months just to get a response from the bank and their commission may be cut drastically!!
Myrtle Beach rentals are a specialty niche area also. many agents wouldn't know where to start if your tenant needed to be evicted. The average real estate agent probably has very little experience screening people as well.
But once you clearly define what your needs are you can easily find an agent that specializes in them.
