This textbook is broader in scope than what the title of it suggests. It's not just for paralegals, but for all real estate professionals. And it's not just a lot of theory. It's all applicable knowledge. Every aspect of real estate law is covered. Each chapter has clearly defined objectives that outline what you will be able to do upon completion of it. You will immediately be able to apply what you have learned in real life situations.
It's an excellent textbook that is ideal for self-study, and there is a workbook that accompanies it.
My review is based on the first edition (1999). There is a new edition that should be available soon.

The workbook that accompanies the text is excellent. In Chapter 8 - Deeds, for example, there is a Client File and Deed Preparation Checklist.
