Think Outside The Box with Your Ipod Touch

My kids (who rock, by the way) got me an IPOD touch for Christmas.  I'd been wanting one for some time, but hadn't purchased one because I'm a tightwad.  Man, I need to kick myself!  I should have done this SO much sooner.

I was adding and deleting pictures on my new IPOD today when a thought crossed my mind.  Why not use this wonderful little gadget for real estate?  So I added the pic folders of my current listings to my ITunes Photo library and then Synced up my IPOD.

Now I have folders on my IPOD of my current listings.  Pretty cool, huh?

Now, you may be saying, "Yeah, so what.  You can look at pics you already have on your computer."  That would be a true statement.  But now I can take those pics from my computer (and the MLS, and Realtor.com, etc) with me wherever I go.  If I bump into someone who is looking for a house, guess what I've got?  My own instant slide show for them.  And I can narrate too!  How cool is that!!!

One other handy feature is that you can email the pics.  So if the person you're talking to likes the pictures, you shoot them off to his or her email and boom, they've got them too.  The only drawback here is that you have to be in an area where you have an internet connection.  But if that's the case, you just shoot them the pics once you get back to your computer.

In the changing world of real estate, this could be a very cool way to impress not only our clients, but potential buyers as well!

On a side note - if you have an IPhone, you may be able to email pics anywhere...don't know for sure.

For those of you in the Tulsa/Owasso area...as far as I know I'm the ONLY Realtor in our area who utilizes this technology.  Why not list your house with the guy who is out there on the cutting edge!
