Lisa Schlitz is the Star buyers' agent for Nestor and Katerina's real estate team! We wanted to introduce you to her in case you do not know her yet.

Lisa started with us back at the end of July 2008 after our first buyers agent died at the age of 47 from a heart attack in his living room one night.

This is a success story and one in which Lisa would never toot her own horn so I am here to do that for her.

Lisa is a prior owner of a very successful Re/Max office here in town that she and her husband sold a few years ago. She then took some time off to take care of her children and worked at a title company to keep herself involved in the business.

When she told acquaintances and some friends that she was coming to interview with us to be our buyers agent- she was met with naysayers and dreamstealers. At the same time that brokers are closing up shop, title companies going bankrupt, mortgage companies closing left and right and agent getting second jobs just to survive Lisa was about to begin a journey that others thought was doomed before she even made her first step.

Knowing that this is the state of mind of most people the very first thing we gave Lisa was our DVD, The Secret to take home and watch and told her to put her earplugs in when people were talking about how bad it is and to stop watching the news.

The first month was tough but she got through it. With a belief in herself and her dreams, a strong desire NOT to go back to 9 to 5, a stronger desire to be home when her kids get home from school and a passion for helping clients find their dream homes she go through the negatives, she got through the start up and she kept those ear plugs in!

We told her that we would keep her busy with the leads that we get from our website and our blog. And we have kept our word on that so much so that now she is telling us about how busy she is! We have a board for her contracts in escrow and it is almost filled up!  She is busy closing on our buyer contracts.

In fact, she is getting so busy that we are going to be adding another buyers agent to our team this spring.

We are very proud of Lisa. She is a great representative of our team. Lisa goes the extra mile and provides great service for our team's buyers.
