Not like you can get any tickets, but Davidson has been playing some really big games lately. They played Duke the other night and almost scared them.  Davidson isn't ranked in the top 25 yet this year, but they really have a powerful weapon with Stephen Curry.  I've written about him before. He is the son of Dell Curry, who was one of the original Charlotte Hornets, before they moved to New Orleans. Dell scored more than 10,000 point I thought I heard them say on the broadcast.  He was an amazing shooter, I remember that.  He was part of the team that went deep into the playoffs with Alonzo Mourning and Larry Johnson in the early 90s sometime.

Anyway, Stephen is either following in his father's footsteps, or breaking down walls, I'm not sure. I didn't follow Dell's college career. Stephen is really fun to watch though. He is half point guard and half shooting guard. I think he's probably better when someone else gets the ball down the court to him and  he finds a way to score.

He is a source for excitement in Charlotte just because of his father. There are Davidson alums sprinkled around, but it's a small school, so it isn't like they rent a stadium to have alumni parties.

His brother Seth Curry who I believe plays for Liberty University is a very dangerous shooter. It must be in the genes Brian. How can NCAA teams pass up on both guys. The father could shoot in his days playing with Zo and Larry Johnson aka "Grandma Ma". Thanks for making a comment on my blog. Have a great weekend. Great post.
