While 2008 may have been challenging for all of us, certainly was for me, I can say that I was busy during the Christmas holidays, 2 closings in December. One of those was a tenant who wanted to buy the home she was living in, seller was ready to sell it to her so I brokered the deal between them and got it closed in 2 weeks.
That last deal (because I got both sides of it) put me in the top 200 or 20% of Realtors for the Tallahassee Board in 2008. Several of our KW agents surpassed me, but getting in that 20% was a plus for me at the end of the year.
It was another plus, as it was something I could mention in my State of the Tallahassee Real Estate Market newsletter I printed up for my sphere that I'm sending out this week.
Gotta stay positive where we can.
Hope things starting off well for 2009 for you.
