Well today we are having our 4th Winter Storm of this Winter Season!! Last weekend we have over 50 appointment made for showings on our listings and a couple of walkins. Looked like things were really going to start moving. Now we have a big storm come in on the weekend. The office will probably close soon and yesterday and today we have only had 21 appointments and some of them canceled. I think if the weather was to hold off we would have a good January.

Today we are looking at 8-10 inches, it will probably stay around for a week stalling things again.

We have a lot of good priced homes and property for sale sale right now , and with the lowest interest rates in a long time I think we will, as my Manager Joes would say "We Will Shine In 09"

Thomas,

8-10 inches sounds like a bit of a drag!! ...And to think that I overheard some people complaining about the forty-two degree temperature this morning here in Southern California!!

Don't forget me if you learn of anyone moving to "The OC!"

8-10 inches does not sound like much fun!  Here in Fort Wayne, IN they aren't sure if we are getting a lot of snow or more freezing rain.  I wonder what the temp is in Miami right now...

I am with you!  Being an old lady makes it worse.  I just cringe at the thought of plowing through snow banks to get into houses.  We have inches of ice under the snow too.  My mission later this month when they're on sale is to get the best boots I can for walking on ice and snow.  That will insure that we will return to our normal mild winters here in the greater Boise area.  Truthfully this winter has changed my mind about where I want to be in retirement - I even looked up Arizona timeshares!!  But---bad weather makes people stay in and when they do they get on their computers and look at real estate sites ---then they call in or email ---then we get them motivated ---then we sell something --- then we stay in business.

Kathy:  You might consider the Raleigh/Durham area in North Carolina, or the Fort Worth area.  The cost of living in both places is comparatively less, and it rarely if ever snows in either place.  Good luck with those boots... LOL.  By the way... I do not own a pair of boots... I have no need for them... :)

Fort Worth sounds great to me.  Carl and I went to college in E Texas!   Thomas I hope it's melted now.  We can finally see the dirt in places and it's going to be above freezing all week!
