I have two adorable grand children.  They (like most children) love to pick dandelions for their mommy.  Well, my son recently had a lawncare company come out and fertilize his yard.  Of course, this cleared up the dandelion issue.  Luke, who is almost 5, was very sad and became upset with his dad.  "They will kill all the dandelions, what will I give to mommy, he said".  Oh to be so innocent. 

Our lives are so busy.  We run from this activity, to that deal and back.  We need to stop and take time to enjoy life more often.  We need to be more like Luke and Brooke, (did I tell you they are my adorable grandchildren), and see the simple things in life.  Take a walk, pick a dandelion, look at clouds, walk in the rain or whatever makes you feel in touch with nature. 

We will be better and happier if we take that time.  We give so much to the world, why not take a few minutes for ourselves.
