Why I Love Living In The Orlando Area: #4 Golf

The Orlando Area is home to some of Golf's greatest players and courses, if you live here long enough you'll end up playing yourself, I did. I was introduced to the game by one of my favorite customers, Dean Stromwall. He was kind enough to spend some time with me on the range and I was hooked, and my drives were too. Lady Golfer

The highlight of the Golf Season in Orlando has to be the Arnold Palmer Invitational held at Bayhill Club & Lodge. Last years Invitational had one of the most spectacular finishes in all of Golf, Tiger Woods sinking his final put for the win. I think that there were even a few non-Golfers out there that found this to be one of the most memorable moments in sports.

If you love Golf, you'll love it here. From the Public to Private Orlando Area Courses there is a home for every level of player.

I love golf Debbie. I always tell my husband I get my moneys worth because I get to hit the ball a lot of times.

Debbie - there certainly are some great courses in the area, I have been fortunate enough to have played quite a few of them.

Debbie: I'm in an area loaded with courses, too, even ran a golf tournament for charity,but just haven't gotten the bug. I really enjoy the Orlando area, had a time share there, and there last week for a theKW Family Reunion.

Is the St. John's River anywhere near you? My younger son is head for some kind of trip up it on a house boat for spring break (college sponsored)

I wish that were me finishing my swing in that picture - - we are getting another foot of snow today! It seems like golf season will never get here this year - - you are so lucky to be in a place where you can golf year-round. My husband and I were just down in West Palm Beach for a couple days (not a trip for fun) and I was cold the whole time! What's the matter with that! Fore!!!

I am sure there are a ton of good reasons to live in Orlando. At the top of my list would be the weather:)

Debbie, that's one of the reasons I love living in Arizona - golf all year round! ;-)

Debbie - I wish I was a better golfer. When I played more, it is very addicting and a lot of fun ! Orlando must be great to have sooo many great golfers and golf course, not to mention the fun in the sun !
