Shane, a lot of people have been trying to copy the craigslist model. Let us hope somebody will succeed.
I think one reason that CL is so successful is that they insist not to put any ads at all. I see many would fail because they want to put ads even before their products become popular. A bad move.
I think the ads are a bit over the top. It may degenerate into a messy MLM hangout, not so much MLS...
Hi Shane,
thanks for the info. FYI, I posted a more detailed comparison of my own on my blog http://jasonhershey.activerain.com/post/911359/corkin-com-vs-craiglist-who-is-the-winner. I noted your blog entry in there, since yours was really the only info I could find on craiglist.
Thanks for stopping by. I checked out your post too.
I hope that this actually is able to go through and work. Thanks for the great information.
Hi everyone:
I have been using a great tool to automate my postings on Craigslit. All I have to do is create a dozen ads with several different headers and tell rainmaker how often I want those ads posted. It does the rest. Whether you are at your computer or not my ads get posted and I generate consistent predictable leads
