Wow! I hadn't heard about this. Thank you for your post.

I always note less miles than actual. I list only and do not push the envelope with the IRS. One battle with them will lose massive man hours.

I dropped this deduction from my taxes a few years ago as it has always been a red flag issue for many in the profession. I figure that the small deduction it gave me wasn't worth the potential headache.
