This is one of those "just because I feel like it" posts... in other words it really has nothing to with real estate. When I left my house in Hampstead last Thursday morning and it was cold but bright and sunny.

The sun was sweet to see so I decided rather than highway driving I'd go the back way to Concord. As I drove up through Sandown and into Chester a sudden snow squall arrived and by the time I was in Auburn it was a full blown snow storm. I could barely see at times!

In fact Lake Massabesic totally disappeared from view. It was rather scary looking!

And then less than 45 minutes later the sun was shinning brightly in Concord!

This was the view that greeted me when I arrived at my meeting location.

Monika, I have been in snow storms that I could barely see anything in front of me, and scary is putting it very mildly.

Hi Monika - when those squalls hit, it can be really scary because you really can't see right in front of you.  I had a listing appointment Thursday morning in Eliot, and we ran right into a squall - couldn't even see the river, and the house was located on the river - it was amazing to see the river just disappear like that.

That last picture doesn't look like NHAR.....  ;-)

It's always cool to see photos like this, and I remember your video about the trees breaking on your property.  As a native Texan, this is a foreign concept to me - we do get occasion ice and VERY rare snow, but it's usually just sun and/or rain.

I think this is just the kind of post that a relocating person would find interesting.  Nice photos - and what a contrast!

Sort of like Florida?  Except Rain and sun are the opposing quick changes! I have to say, It's been snowing quite a bit this winter, in New England, at least. It's snowing here, right now:)

Monika - Wow!  What a contrast!  I don't like driving in snow like that.  I'm glad the sun came out!  :)

Wow, all in one day!  I had no idea your weather could be so unpredictable.  It reminds me of our summer thunder showers where you can be driving in clear weather and hit a cell of rain and wind and then come out the other side 15 minutes later.  You sure have had a challenging winter!

Gosh Monika!  Your area is simply beautiful!  We rarely have snow but, do have ice here.  We'd MUCH rather have the white stuff. ;-)

Actually, your post has everything to do with real estate. Realtors do a lot of driving to and from properties, and driving is dangerous. The conditions you show are dangers to the max. Be careful driving.
