As REALTORS, we know that at its core, the current economic crisis can be soloved if the housing market recovers. The National Assocation of REALTORS has a great 4 point plan that needs our support both as Realtors and Home Owners. In general the plan is as follows:
1. Make the $7,500 tax credit for all purchases under 1 million and eliminate the repayment.
2. Make the 2008 FHA, Fannie Mae and Feddie Mac loan limits permanent.
3. Get the Treaury relief program back on track and target more funds for mortgage relief.
4. Permanerntly bar banks from engaging in real estate brokerage and management. The banks have proven they have enough to do to simply manage the loan process!!
