With the New Year in full swing, we are now ready to start celebrating a whole new set of holidays. Some of my favorite early holidays would have to be Valentines and St Patricks Day. Neither of these holidays is observed as a national holiday but both are widely celebrated as one. For Valentines, it is all about the hearts, roses, chocolates, and jewelry. For St Patricks Day, it is all about the wearing of green, the luck of the Irish, and the green beer.
This year, our group has decided to wear some St Patricks t-shirts on St Patricks Day. I am sure that there are probably a ton of Irish t-shirts that one can choose from if they desired. With the St Patricks Day t-shirts, we can make sure that we do not succumb to being pinched while we am out consuming my favorite pint of green ale.
The one great thing about living in a college town is the fact that there are not shortages of pubs to get your green suds from. I just hope that people do not decide to drink and drive. Having a designated driver is the best thing that one can do.
