Each event requires a skier registration (beginning at 8am.) the first 100 participants are given a long sleeve t-shirt and all racers will receive their race bib and number. The course is generally set on one of the sponsor mountains easier slopes so that all age groups and experience levels can enjoy the challenge.
Games and event will be held during the lunch break and racing will resume after an hour recces from noon till 1pm. Throughout the day raffle tickets will be sold with the proceeds going to the make a wish foundation, and various prices will be awarded to the lucky ticket holders.
At the completion of the races medals will be awarded to the age groups winning their respective sections, The events and categories are varied so everyone can get in to the act, with snowboarding and skiing, and with ages starting under 6 and a total of 14 groups up to, the over 76 age group.
Prizes, swag and awards: The Pepsi Company and it's brand mountain Dew always brings a boat load of hats, shirts, helmets, skis, boards, coolers and sports bags to these events. And Since Loon Mountain is the location of the EASTERN FINALS, they get the year end awards and the Eastern Tour bragging rights.

If you don't participate in snow sports this event is fun to watch, and shuttle service is available at all the participating hotels and condominium resorts in town (if you are staying in one). Hope to see you there.
