God has already brought America the greatest stimulus package

Pastor Steve Jamison of Eastridge Christian Assembly in Issaquah,Washington  was the guest preacher at my church First Baptist Church of Glenarden in Upper Marlboro,Maryland 20774. Senior Pastor -Pastor John. Kenneth Jenkins Sr.

He is one of the many great pastors who I look forward to whenever he comes to preach at my church. Me and my brother were a little late today (Normally both of us are on time but not today for some reason). Even though I didn't catch the sermon from the beginning,it was a inspiring sermon. He said many great things in his sermon.

But one thing that he said is "We need to stop worrying about the stimulus package because God has already brought America the greatest stimulus package. I am assuming he is talking about President-elect Barack Obama because earlier in his sermon he said something about how an African American is now going to be the leader of this country.(Not the exact words but it was similiar to that).

I strongly believe that prayer is the greatest stimulus package that America needs. We need God in our families, business, schools, houses, jobs. With what this country is facing,we need God. We all know that money solves a lot of problems, but it does not solve all problems. You can't put out a fire by pouring gasoline on it. You can't make your money work for you if the only thing you do is spend, spend, spend and don't save and invest it. Will a stimulus package help the economy? I really can't answer that question.

Some people are saying that President-elect Barack Obama's stimulus package should reach $800 to $1.3 trillion which will surpass President George W. Bush's $700 billion financial rescue plan.

How much is enough? You can't keep throwing money on a problem and think that is going to fix it. We need to pray for President George W.Bush and his administration. And we definitely need to pray for President-elect Barack Obama and his administration with the task that is ahead of them. In spite of the slumping housing market, unemployment rate, rising gas prices and loss of trillions of dollars in the stock market in 2008,I still believe in the power of prayer. Prayer changes things. There is no problem to big for God that he can't solve. God is still and will always be in the business of blessings and working miracles.  United States of America needs prayer.

Huntsville, Alabama Real Estate Agent Elizabeth Ramsey Cooper-Golden (Remax Huntsville/Madison)- Hello my good friend Liz. What's going on? How is everything? I haven't been on twitter in a minute. I need to stop by there today. We need to pray more for this country. We are due for a change. Change is coming soon. Thanks for supporting me as usual. Have a great day.

Mary Douglas Red Feather Lakes, CO (United Country Ponderosa Realty)- Mary I don't know everything. But one thing I do know is God's way is higher than our ways. He is a wonderful and magnificient God. I've learned that God doesn't answer some prayers because it is not time yet. He might not come when you need him but God's time is the best time. He is a on time God. Yes he is. Thanks for making a comment on my blog my friend. Have a great day.

I am so happy I tapped into this blog let me just first commend you on such great points. I could not agree with you more. In a world where so many people are trying to take God out of everything it's good to here someone speak such truth. I believe God does answer all prayers but like you said Gods timing is always the right time. We all have challanges in life but if we didn't we wouldn't need God or faith. But if we hold onto God and all his ways and keep our faith he always shows up.....

   God Bless You ,

Have a Blessed Year Mr. Folayan
