Midori Miller tagged me for this MeMe. Here are the rules based on Midori's post... Here are all of the ground rules that need to be followed:
1. Create a blog post with a link to the person who so happily tagged you. See above!
2. List all of these rules in the post. Feel free to cut and paste this.
3. Share seven things that others may not know about you. Do I or have I HAD a life outside of real estate?
4. Identify seven friends, contacts or near enemies in which to adorn this MEME. Tag them at the end of the post and give a link to their blog.
5. Contact each of the tagged members and let them know that you were indeed fast enough to catch them and that you did indeed tag them...no matter how much they say you missed them! No schoolyard rules in this MEME, nope you gotta do it if you are tagged. Sorry guys!
I have a Greek Heritage that I know nothing about. My birth father was a full blooded Greek, but I have never met him (except at birth) so I don't really know much about my heritage on that side. I have olive, oily skin, I love baklava, like to dance and have always wanted to go to Greece but that is about it. I loved the movie "My Big Fat Greek Wedding"!

When I was young my ambitious desire was to be a decorator! My Mom even let me do a complete makeover of my room when I was 12 and it was gorgeous - all red and black with fabric that looked like it had paint splashed all over it. And topped off with throw pillows in every color of the paint splash and a beautiful hand painted (me the artist) psychedelic mural on the wall. (Think Beatles!)
When my children were small I had a County licensed "Debs Day Care" in the basement of my home and kept 6 small children (in addition to my 2)! "Oh My! What was I thinking?!" you say. But actually I loved it! Extra income for our family without me having to pay daycare and I got to stay home with my kids. I was VERY organized and had planned meals and activities.

I loved art in school and have dabbled in painting. I did a lot of oil painting in my early 30's but have not picked up a brush since I went into real estate in 1986. When I think of retirement years I would love to be able to paint and make pottery. Maybe a nice art studio in our vacation house in Costa Rica!
When I retired from "Debs Day Care" and my kids started to school my neighbor girlfriend and I opened an Arts and Crafts Consignment Shop called "Polliwogs and the Lily Pad" Now that was exhausting. I was making all kinds of crafts and doing specialty painting + taking in crafts from other people on consignment, but I could not keep up with the orders, especially around Christmas. I would work in the store all day then stay up all night filling orders. I believe that lasted about a year...but it is a great memory!
I am a "Biker Babe"! Yep, My sweetheart is a Harley Man. Or I should say "was". We did quiet a bit of cruising - Daytona Bike Week, Sturgis, A month long "Road Trip" to the Seattle area, Beach rides, Mountain rides - and lots of biker bars along the way! There is just something about enjoying the scenery with the wind in your face and the smell of the mountains or the ocean when you are on a bike. But we have moved on to "flip flops and tank tops" and boating on the Alabama Gulf and flying to Costa Rica to zip thru the rain forest and visit with monkeys and birds!

Got Broccoli? We have a wonderful backyard garden where I grow herbs, strawberries, tomatoes, peppers, onions, squash, broccoli and whatever strikes our fancy. One year we had so much broccoli we were giving it away everyday! I felt like Bubba Gump except instead of shrimp it was broccoli...broccoli casserole, broccoli soup, broccoli salad, broccoli with cheese.......but is was really yummy!
Hurray! I am done with my MeMe! "Thanks Midori" for including me! So now I get to pass it on to seven LUCKY wonderful AR friends that are "blogging at the bit" to share seven unknown tidbits of info about themselves!

I did not know you were a biker babe! I used to babysit kids to earn extra money but back then I didn't have to have a daycare..it was babysitting kids. If you are giving away broccoli this year let me know...I love the stuff. This was really interesting and I really enjoyed it!
