In this market we are all looking for the light at the end of the tunnel.  We continue to remain optimistic and hopeful that the market will soon turn around.  If your business has slowed it may be time to look outside the box to build future revenue.  Several agents have expressed that one problem with our market is finding buyers...qualified buyers.  This got me thinking.

How can one develop future business with buyers who are currently unqualified?  Some agents tell the client to call them back once they clean it up.  I think agents need to be proactive with clients who are unqualified.  Perhaps agents should have a few debt consolidation companies in their data base.  This is just one more way to build a professional helpful relationship with your client. 

I met with Dan Hyman from Monster Debt Solutions and discussed ways to help consumers in this difficult time.  They offer ways to repair credit and help with debt settlement.  Empowering yourself with knowledge is an additional tool to help clients.  I believe that the more information I have and can give to client's only helps build trusting relationships.  As we all know when we effectively help one client we foster positive word of mouth which is the best form of advertising.  Good luck!
