I have become either part of the solution or part of the problem , as this is my first post. Call me the water-boy of Bogging for now.

As in all things Charlotte NC,  Real estate is evolving and unfortunately catching up with the rest of the country. We were impervious to gyrations occurring in other markets until recently. I have so many people "wanting to move here" from far and wide with the caveat "if I can only sell my home in my home town".

So let's get proactive you home town Listing Agents... SELL, SELL, SELL. I want to get my potential buyers here. Are your clients realistic with their expectations concerning price? Funny how people think "OUR" house is worth more than what the market will bear. And if the house is valued as "underwater".....well that's just plain sad and I feel for them. But with So many just wishing they could sell their home, I am reminded that these are challenging times. "We aren't in Kansas anymore Toto", and  it's time to do more than wish. Maybe a Short Sale is a solution. Agents need to be versed in Short Sales to assist. These workouts are not cut and dried and can be a bit trying. So for you to assist, you need the proper information and experience...without it... I wish you well.

"DO you have an EXPERIENCED Realtor MARKETING your house or do you just have it just listed with a sign in the yard?"  This is the question I ask my relocation clients. I am always looking for great referrals to assist my out of townees. And IF you have any success stories on Short Sales techniques I would love to have them on this post.

By the way...we came in second place in the football game Saturday night. Go Panthers..I Guess we had OUR expectations a bit high.
