Kevin, you can get the best of both now that they have become one and let you customize your package. I started out with XM and have just kept the basic package with them. I am a sports nut and find that XM has all that I need. It does not have the NFL but on Sunday I am in front of my TV anyway and not listening to the radio.
I thought XM & Sirus were now the same company?
we like the comedy on xm radio but never used the other service at all.
Kevin,
They merged into one company but I only listened to one or two channels ever the whole time I had it. :)

Kevin Robinson-Like everyone said, they both have merged into one company. So I guess either way,you can't lose.
I don't know, it is just me, but I do not pay for radio.......I know people love it, but I have to draw the line somewhere!! ; )
Been a member of XM since 2003 (They told me that when I went to cancel my account yesterday). With my iphone, podcasts and everything else no reason to spend the $30 a month. Since I went to cancel they gave me three months for free to see if I would change my mind (and yes, they are now the same company but charge a premium for both)

I have had XM for over a year now, we enjoy the comedy channel "Laugh USA" it is clean comedy and we really giggle at some of the people. My wife enjoys the all holiday channel during the holiday season and who can't resist a good old fashioned "story" once in a while. I will keep it as long as it stays reasonably priced. Can't speak for the other one.
We have had XM for 2 years now - very happy with it.
Thanks for all the input.
Kevin - I have had Sirius as part of my satellite package, it was alright but never could convince me to spend the bucks to put it in my vehicles. If I were constantly on the road, maybe.
