Safety Town is a state of the art complex dedicated to teaching citizens about fire and life safety issues. Frisco Fire Safety Town features a mini village with roadways, traffic signals and a toll booth. Children will ride bikes or mini-jeeps through the town. In addition, interactive classrooms feature an actual fire engine cut down to kid size. There's also a home setting with window-like video screens simulating severe weather. And there's a bedroom that fills with simulated smoke. All this is intended to help teach safety to children.

Frisco Fire Safety Town is excited to announce its Summer Safety Program lineup for 2007! All Summer Safety Programs last approximately one-hour in length and include a safety presentation, hands-on interaction with students and a tour of the outdoor town, weather permitting.
All programs are presented in an age-appropriate classroom for children in kindergarten, first and second grade. Third, fourth and fifth grade students are given instruction on the same topics but in a separate classroom and at a more advanced level. All programs focus on four core safety points: prevention, preparation, recognition and respone to each safety topic.
Each weekday during the summer, a different safety program will be taught. Each one-hour program will be offered four times daily (9:30 a.m., 10:45 a.m., 1:00 p.m. and 2:15 p.m.) for the convenience of those wishing to attend. Summer Safety Programs are open to groups or individuals and are free! However, classroom sizes are limited, so plan your visit Frisco Fire Safety Town soon.
To reserve an individual or group summer session, complete a Summer Safety Program Request form with the dates and times you would like to attend. E-mail, fax or send your request to Frisco Fire Safety Town. For further information or to schedule a program, contact Frisco Fire Safety Town at 972.292.6350 during normal business hours.
Rodman Construction and Mario Sinacola and Sons construction companies worked together to do the work on the site as a part of their contribution to the Frisco Fire Safety Town project. The value of their contribution has been valued at over $400,000.00 and was done at their convenience prior to the completion of the final plans.
The Frisco Fire Safety Town opened in conjunction with the new Central Fire Station.
