Heading home on R&R and looking for a great location for a family vacation? Planning for the Spring break or Summer Break vacation destinations? Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort will be offering the 2009 "Disney's Armed Forces Salute" Special.

Fort Rucker Relocation Guide Heading to Walt Disney World Resort in Sunny Florida? During Jan. 4 until December 23, 2009, Active and Retired U.S. Military Service-members can obtain one complimentary 5-day "Disney's Armed Forces Salute" ticket with Park Hopper and Water Park Fun. "Disney's Armed Forces Salute" ticket is valid for five days of admission into the either Walt Disney World Theme Parks, in addition to a total of five visits to a choice of Disney Water Park, DisneyQuest Indoor Interactive Theme Park or certain other Disney attractions. During the "Disney's Armed Forces Salute" special period, active or retired United States Military personnel may also make a one-time purchase of 5 "Disney's Armed Forces Salute Companion" 5-day ticket, one theme park per day for $99.00 per ticket (plus tax). The Disney's Armed Forces Salute Companion ticket does not include the Park Hopper or Disney Water Park, however, an upgrade option is available for $25.00 (plus tax) per ticket.

Active Military Personnel, Retired Military, members of the US Military (Navy, Army, Marines, Coast Guard, National Guard, Air Force) :: Disneyland Resort in California is running a park special until June 12, 2009.

Active Military member can receive one complimentary three-day "Disney's Armed Forces Salute" Park Hopper ticket. The Disney Park Hopper ticket is valid for admission to both the Disneyland and Disney's California Adventure parks.

In addition during the"Disney's Armed Forces Salute", the active or retired U.S. Military service member can make a one-time purchase of an adult or child three day "Disney's Armed Forces Salute Companion" Park Hopper ticket for up to five family members or family friends for the price of an adult 1-day Park Hopper ticket.

Tickets and more information can be obtained from the Fort Rucker ITR office at Fort Rucker, US Army Post, Building 5700, Phone: (334) 255-9517.

Regina on the California Coast - Sounds like a great deal. I am thinking about taking a mini vacation, Disney Vacation a quick trip from Fort Rucker! It is great to hear about multi-million companies offering military discounts for Veterans and Active Duty Military Service members and their families.

Ms. Tucker from Ft. Rucker...i know...it rhymes....since I live about 3 hours from Orlando ...my family spends a few times a year in Disney...I'm actually used to the drive now and know the area pretty good...we also had a few get togethers from AR there....it really is a nice place to take the whole family.

Neal: Like the intro rhyming....Tucker from Rucker...might have to use that one! It has been a few years visiting the enchanting world of Disney. I last stated I would wait until my son was 10 and I get set him lose with a walkie-talkie. But with the Disney Armed Forces Salute promotion, we might have to take a visit sooner. My neighbors are going this weekend, so I hopefully can get some pictures from her to update my posting. I bet that would be fun having a AR get to together at Disney - the place where are the magic happens.
