I asked myself this question the other day when gas prices jumped up 10 cents/gallon in O'Fallon, Missouri.

This morning, while listening to the radio, the broadcaster asked the same question and then gave us the answer.

Are you ready for this...?  Here is is:

Gas prices went up because the big guys in charge are "thinking about" lowering production.  Did you get that?

 "thinking about"!

The lowering of production hasn't actually taken place, and it might not even happen.

However, they are "thinking about" it...

I hope they're careful about what they "think about" in the future....    :)

Debi, Debi, Debi...Do you really expect logic to play a role in these price changes?

No way!

Kate - LOL!  What was I thinking...?   :)

Tom - They say that gas stations only profit a nickel a gallon, but how can that be true when they raise the price on a "maybe"?      :(

Debi.. That's the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard.  "Thinking about".. and therefore this substantiates the increase?

Then this should work for us.  I'm thinking about selling 6 one million dollar homes this year, each for an 8 percent commission, of which I bring in the buyers as well.  Oh yes.. and the best part.. I'd like the check NOW. :)

Debi,

Gives a whole new meaning to "a penny for your thoughts" doesn't it? :)

Oh I hope they don't go up as high as they were.  It really made me stop and think before driving any real distance.  I hate being limited like that.  You can't look at any decisions these guys make with logic...it doesn't work that way!

Valerie - LOL!  That sounds reasonable to me...!   :)

Steve - LOL!  I guess it does...  :)

Sharon - Unfortunately, it looks like logic has nothing to do with it...  :(

Debi, I laughed when I read this! I remember thinking the same thing. "Should be interesting to find out what they 'think about' next! Good grief.
