I typically send my e-news letter out at the beginning of each month, but I thought I would send it early as a reminder of some important information and point out some things going in the market. First, if you purchased a home last year, make sure you complete the paperwork necessary to claim your homestead exemption. You can find more information about the homestead exemption at http://www.hcad.org Secondly, interest rates are low right now which opens up a couple of opportunities.
