Happiness Notes From A Warm Dog

By
Real Estate Agent with Keller Williams Realty 0575737

Warm DogMany Realtors and others in the industry have finalized their business plan into the second week of the new year and are charged up and ready to go. Besides hitting the target of success I think we all want to hit the target of happiness in our professional AND personal lives. I've had many dogs throughout my life and I think if we just watch what they do, we will always be on track. So here are a few

Happiness Notes From A Warm Dog:

1. Keep it all simple.

2. Discover what makes you happy.

3. Spend more time on what makes you happy,

4. Find at least one in your life you can take care of and can take care of you.

5. Make time for fun every day.

6. Rest and eat good food.

7. Be loyal to your friends.

8. ALWAYS love your fellow man.

Man's best friend is the BEST at that last one. YOU be too!!

Hi Gary!  OMG, I could barely READ your post--I just couldn't take my eyes off of that photo!  I'm with GUS, I'd LOVE to have that beautiful doggie at my home!  When I was small, we had an Irish Setter named Duke and he was THE best dog.  Okay, you've got me thinking that I need to go find one at the local shelter now!

Hi Gary, Love the post and love the picture!  Dogs are the most incredible creatures. They are happy to see us no matter what.  They love us unconditionally and they forgive us if we are having a bad day!  I have learned so much from my dog, Bailey.  I wouldn't know what to do without him.  Thanks for the BEAUTIFUL post!  I love reading your blog everyday, as you truly inspire me!  You have a great talent!

Gary--Unfortunately, my dog is not too warm or happy today but then neither am I with minus 30 degree temps. Cute post and pic!

That is a great list for all of us to follow.  I have the most difficult time with number 1, keeping it simple.  I seem to have to make everything more involved and more complicated than necessary.  I will work on this!

Hi Gary - What a fun post to bring out such great comments...that pup is a HUGE hit!!!  I love that Elizabeth's dog is so smitten and took the time to express his feelings.  I'm sure you can arrange a meeting.  Have a super day, my friend :-)

Thanks for the reminder list, fellow dog lover! My favorite part of the day is in the morning when I just wake up and the girls jump on the bed and we have snuggle time. My girls are all rescue dogs. As a kid I grew up with Old English Sheepdogs, but after my last, very special one passed away I couldn't bear to get another one. Since that time I have had shelter dogs. I will get another sheepdog one day, but I am grateful for all of the wonderful kids I've had over the years and appreciate each day with them. Give your dog a hug for me! -S

That sounds like a smart dog Gary, loyalty is a hard thing to find these days. So, when you do find it, take it as the gift it truly is.

Gary,

There are days when you are just over-busy and it goes by in a blur and then you discover in the evening that you never had time to even think about fun or relaxing for a moment. And there should be time for that to keep you sharp.

Gary,

Dogs are so awesome!  We could learn much from them if we would only pay attention.  They love unconditionally...Something we could all learn to do better.

Gary,
A dog's needs are simple--they give love so freely.  Maybe that's the answer.

Finding someone to care for you and for you to care for is so important to me. Of course, I found someone quite a while ago!  Not that it has to be a significant other.  Some people do this through volunteering in shelters and such where they can help those less fortunate than we are.  Whatever works, it's important!
