I was on my way to an open house and I saw these signs along the road:
I saw this white haired man with a wide grin waving at cars & trucks. There were pick-ups pulling over to get a stack of wood and as soon as they drove off the white haired man would set up 2 more stacks and wave at the new batch of cars going by. I had to laugh; we ha
d been by several road side pick-ups with stacks of wood cut for purchase earlier in the morning going to church. I never saw anyone; they were either sitting in their pick-ups or huddled by their passenger doors.
This man knew how to market!
Create an image and the weather was nippy enough that many decided he had something they wanted! He was only out there 3 hours and all his wood was sold! It's amazing what a little ingenuity can do!
