FEATURED PETS from Alachua Co. Humane Society - Jan/Feb '08

Meet BUTTERBALL and ARIES, the featured pets in the January/February issue of Natural Awakenings Magazine of North Central Florida! Every 2 months my partner and I advertise a new set of loving animals that want to go home with you. You can pick up a copy of Natural Awakenings at over 400 locations in Alachua and Marion County, such as Mother Earth Market, Falafel King, La Fiesta, or read the digital issue by clicking the above link to the magazine.

The Alachua County Humane Society ACHS is currently raising donations to build a new, larger facility that will better serve the needs of those in the care of ACHS. Wonderful way to help your local homeless pets and Humane society. I'm all for adoption.

Good for you! My daughter is in Vet school at UF. Our pet family is made up of some wonderful rescues.

Victoria- that is awesome! Small world indeed. The other organizations are wonderful as well. I only wish I had unlimited funds and time to donate to all in both ways.

Haven't seen the nopawsleftbehind.org website before, but very interesting and something I will definitely keep in mind. I have a listing where the previous owners just left their dog there. My sellers adopted the dog and now that they are moving, they are taking her with them, so thank god she has a loving home!

I hope your daughter enjoys Gainesville and UF! :)
