I took this photo a couple of months ago while I was out showing property. It occurred to me that if there really is a pot of gold at the end of the Rainbow then the home owners in Hoodsport are in luck! I feel fortunate to have grabbed this photo because minutes later the rainbow and the mist were both gone. It reminded me of the Orca whale pictures I took in these same waters. Every time I snapped a picture it would take the pictures once the whale was under water again. I have beautiful pictures of saltwater spray and half fins and tails. The Whales should be back again this October, hopefully this time I will capture one with my new camera.
That is beautiful. I remember coming into San Francisco from the airport one time and just as we crested the last hill going into SF itself, there was a full crisp rainbow that reached perfectly across the entire city. It was one of those sights that I pray I will never forget. it was so beautiful I don't ever want to lose that memory!
WOW what a picture!! Hopefully, you were able to get that pot of gold from the customers/clients that you were showing properties to that day! Thanks for sharing...
That is absolutely stunning. I so often want to stop my car to take photos of things I see now - if only there were enough time......
Beautiful picture. We are fortunate to live in the northwest. It's beauty is stunning. Would love to see a pic of a whale...I live inland on WA & ID border....have never seen a whale...would love to someday!
I try and carry my camera every where I go. I kick myself when I don't because I miss amazing pictures. I am not sure my husband is always on my page. I think pulling the car over at a moments notice annoys him sometimes. I remember one of the pictures I hated missing was... all of the navy ships in Bremerton at twilight with a huge full moon hanging heavy in the air just barely above them.I still regret not gettting that one-Dinah Lee
