Scary to think, that every time we get a new feature at ActiveRain we lose functionality for 2 weeks after.

I know that AR is a business and must make a profit to survive however when a change is made that destroys the integrity of the product, don't you lose some of your core clients.

I still see function problems with navigating this site and was amazed that in the last 24 hours how much improvement has been made. I don't think I want to pay over $9 to see if the new blog site has as many bugs that occurred in this last update.

Get me back to where we were a week ago and I might be tempted to look at pay for view but not before we fix this site...

Hmm, I do like the new upgrades but I have only found a couple of glitches. Nothing really big.

Wow, Steven, I found at least 12 major navigation problems whereas 6 still exist...

Hi Paul - I'm seeing the navigation problems as well.  You're right AR is a business and needs to make money to survive; however, I'm not pleased to see that I have to pay to view blog sites I've created.  That change came in after I re-organized my blog and I'm not a happy camper about it.

Paul, I agree with you as to paying for the outside blog.  Active Rain should be making a fair amount from their ad traffic and I thing the charge is a bit stiff for the blog.

Gabe, That is optional but with the problems that we are having with the free site, I'm not thrilled at the prospect...

You need to understand that AR is relatively new.  In the first couple of years, tweaks need to me made.  Rome was not built in a day.

Money needs to be generated to run it and maintain it every month.

You can always start your own blog to, outside of AR.  Change or Accept and move forward.

Thank you for the post.

Paul,

I just called and left you a message to see if I can get a laundry list of issues. With all the different browsers, and especially versions of browsers) that people use these days, sometimes things seem right on our end when in fact they are whacky for other users. You can reach me at 425.753.7340

I think its great that Bob and Rich still try to address the issues that are provided within our posts.  We not always agree with the way they implement things or the new functionality of something, but they try to answer the concerns (I feel that way anyway).

I also find it funny that we feel we have to copyright everything.  Why is that?

I'm having problems navigating......haven't complained yet, but since you did, I will too.  Maybe I can get my header fixed too.
