Good Morning.

I was a little distressed this morning when I read the headlines about the economist predictions about housing values expected to drop approximately 21%!  When comparing the kinds of contracts that are coming into the office now, buyers know they have the upper hand.  You should ask yourself if you should sell now.  If you don't, rent it, keep it and wait for the market to turn around.  If you do need to sell, you should consider your pricing very carefully now.  You should not be priced over your assessment unless you have done considerable improvements that are not included in your assessment.  Your home price should reflect the market conditions.  I am continually advertising and striving for a sale.  I don't get paid unless the property sells.  Contracts are coming into the office at less than assessed value and they want the seller to pay closing costs.

I realize that your home purchase has been one of the biggest investments in your portfolio.  These market times call for tough decisions.  I hope you appreciate the candor with which I have given you.  Please call me if I can assist you in helping you to decide the right price for your home.
