MAGGIE'S CAFE IS NOW OPEN! MAGGIE'S CAFE - Where it's Always Home Cooked! And this statement is not in any sense an exaggeration. Margaret "Maggie" Bujnowski, the chef and owner, is making sure that everything is made form scratch. And let me add one more very important factor - she prepares everything with her own hands. She adds a little bit of her own heart to each of her specialites. In other works she cooks with love. Cooking is her long time passion and it shows!
Maggie came to Oklahoma from Poland with a long tradition of delicious Polish cooking. It is incredible how dedicated she is to please the most discriminating taste. The recipes are her own with a great deal of influence from her dear mother and grandmother. Can you think of anythinga better than that?
Last time I visited Maggie's Cafe was on the New Year's Eve and ordered Pierogi (Polish dumplings with stuffing) and eating them was an absolute treat. Looking around I enjoyed the toatl ambiance of the place - it felt like being at home. Warm and cozy. Wonderful enticing flavors were lingering from the kitchen ... I was sitting at my table and got so comfortable that I thought about a newpaper to read...
Chaf Maggie B is famous among her clients for incredible cakes and torts (fancy, fancy tall cakes). She makes them to order. And if you are not very sure about what you want she will definitely volunteer few great suggestions. So embellish your special occassons with one of her torts. You will be glad you did and on the top of that it will be a hit of the party! Or better yet cater the whole thing ...
You can expect plenty of American traditional food, too. All of it prepared with a little touch of Chef Maggie B's heart. Two winning combinations - passion and great food! It cannot get better than that.

PS. Maggie's Cafe is located in Bethany, OK - 6315 NW 39th Expressway (Rt.66) and is opened Monday through Friday from 7 - 3 PM and Sunday from 8 - 2 PM and evenings Friday and Saturday from 4 - 8:30.
