The transition from one year to the next seems to give a clean slate with hope for a year improved over the previous year. What will you do with that clean slate? Now that the New Year is here, how about developing a new strategy to help increase your production (or at least maintain it)?
I really believe that in the age of instant information at your fingertips that you must have a solid internet presence. I do understand that not everyone is familiar and comfortable with the internet and all of its nuances. With that said, it is important to keep in mind that most people have an e-mail account that they check on a regular basis. It is also important to remember that most people do know how to perform a basic, rudimentary search. So whether your average client is an internet pro or a relative newbie to the technology, the likelihood of your being found on the internet is of prime importance. An integral part of being able to be found is to be hosted on a reliable webhosting service. If your webhost is always down, then nobody can find you. Another important part of your web presence is the time it takes your website to load and the ease through which visitors can locate what they are looking for. The attention span of the average web surfer is very short, so you have to be able to present them with useful, informative, and relevant information quickly.
With the New Year in full swing, if you haven't taken a second look at your web presence, you owe it to yourself to do so.
