Neil Sedaka wrote a song about this and it went through the roof! Why is it that breaking up is so hard to do?

In relationships, careers, cable companies, even mobile phone companies, we hesitate, we resist, we make excuses and dig our heels in!

Some of these no longer function right, if they ever functioned at all, and yet, we hang on for dear life, hoping things are going to get better!

One of the things that holds us back is the fear of the unknown. We’re afraid of what “might” be, instead of being afraid of “what is”.

Stop and think about it. We program ourselves to think: If we leave our relationship, we “might” not ever find someone ever again.

If we leave our mobile phone company, we “might” not get the same reception!
We need to reevaluate what WILL come of it. What do you think about, that will either move you forward or hold you back?

In your career, why do you stay in a company that isn’t providing you with the training, support, tools, knowledge and skill sets to succed?

Is the fear you need to face that the next company “might” be the same and why bother going through the trouble of changing everything, or is it that you will have to come face to face with the reality that Real Estate is just not right for you?

That is probably the hardest to break up with, but it doesn’t HAVE to be that way!

Before you throw in the towel,

Ask yourself the following questions:

Have I given myself ample opportunity to learn, grow and reap the benefits of the time invested?

Have I APPLIED what I have learned, or just “Shown Up”?

Am I coachable?

Am I COMMITTED to a Career in Real Estate?

Do I want to be the best, no matter what that may be?

Is my company providing me with training, support, guidance, state of the art tools to be successful?

What about other opportunities to grow my clientele?

How innovative are they?

If you have answered those questions honestly and you find that you are doing YOUR part, but your company is not doing theirs, I’d love the opportunity to talk to!
