In every single instance where oil prices have fallen, we have seen a fall in gas prices.
For the last several days, oil has been dropping and is in the 30's now. However, we have been seeing gas prices go up in our area of west Tennessee.
What is the deal? Can anyone tell me why lower oil prices are not translating into lower gas prices?
I just wonder if it has anything to do with brent north sea crude which is at around $45 a barrel? I would appreciate anyone answer this question for me as in every other instance gas prices have followed oil prices!
