I just took the most incredible training through the Distressed Property Institute. This training was taught by a great speaker. His name was Alex Chafin. If you are an agent that really wants to help distressed home owners sell their property as a short sale to help them avoid foreclosure, then this is the training you need. I beleive as Realtors, we have the opportunity and the obligation to help distressed home owners try and recover with as much guidance as possible through these uncertain times in their lives. There are an awful lot of home owners, who because of difficult situations in their lives, are not going to be able to keep their homes. Let's all band together and help as many of them as possible sell their properties before they become bank owned. Short sales are difficult, but with this trainig, the process is so much easier, and when these transactions result in a closing, everyone wins.
