Decadence At It's Best...

After a rough day of tolerating colder than normal temperatures and investigating crawl spaces in Spring Hill, TN, I hooked up with fellow Active Rainer, Larry Brewer and we headed out for the "Manly - Man" watering hole, the newly constructed Logan's Road House, at the new shopping center in Spring Hill, TN to have the typical "Manly - Man" meal of what sustains most American males... Yup! You guessed it - Burgers and Fries! What else might I ask? So, after coming up with ways to solve the economy and the world's probs in general, we bid the place "good-bye" and left.

Instead of taking the direct route back to where I had parked my car, Larry stared meandering around the parking lot, and kept nervously looking in the rear view, as if he were shaking the "Manly - Man" police and didn't want to be seen pulling up to a "wussy" place like Gigi's Cupcakes. Now the truth is out! Now no respectable testosterone pumping, chest beating male would be caught dead going into a place of such decadence. But, here we were, standing in front of a counter filled with such "eye candy" and enough calories, that just looking at them made my butt look fat! Ok! We are Wusses! We couldn't help ourselves and bought a few. Sigh!!!

As stated earlier, "I'm a Wus" but to save face, even "Manly - Men" are allowed to fall off their wagon every now and then and visit their "feminine" side - OK? Needless to say, The Cupcakes are to Die for! And, no one can eat just one! I could not even eat half of one. So if you are in Nashville or visiting the new shopping center just off Saturn Pkwy and Main Street in Spring Hill TN, stop by the nearest Gigi's Cupcakes - Who cares if you butt looks fat, isn't that what the tread mill is for?

Dear Michael,

We have Logan's Roadhouse here, but no Gigi's cupcakes. We will have to live vicariously through you two "manly men"! Have a great weekend!

You know here is one also on broadway around music row, next to Broadway Brewhouse?

Hmmm, now I'm starting to wonder if my husband uses the Chestnut Hill Hardware Store because it's located next to the Chestnut Hill Bakery???? LOL! Manly men unite!

Michael, Those certainly look like "manly man" cupcakes to me. Now, I'm hungry, guess I'll have to go fix myself a "manly man" lunch.
