Vacant Rooms Are A Hard Sell

I recently had the pleasure of completing this traditional vacant home staging in Charlotte, NC.  This huge formal living room was - as usual - a confusing space for buyers.  I could really picture a nice seating area on one end, and a piano on the other end of the room.  It wasn't cost effective for me to bring in a piano, so I arranged a desk area so buyers could see that there was plenty of room to fit whatever items they could possibly want.

Nice job!  The red accents really add nice drama to the room.

Joan,

Without the special touch of your professional home staging, this room would have been a hard sell.  The hardwood floors would have had sound bouncing off of them and the room would have felt very cold.  The warmth and coziness you have brought to this home has dramatically changed it's selling potential!

Stark white walls and dark wood floors look so cold and uninviting.  You created a very warm and welcoming room.  Great job!

What a lovely set up. I particularly love how you have the desk & chair angled by the window with the sun coming in. Gorgeous!

Joan, those pops of red really warm the space up!  Looks great.
