Linda, great photo. It reminds me a lot of when I lived in Japan. Thanks.
Michael—Were you in the military or a civilian when you lived in Japan? Japan is on my travel list! Thank you.
Linda, I was a civilian working for the military. Japan is a photographers paradise. Here is one of my favorite photos I took at the Hokone National Park. I'm sure you will enjoy your visit.
Tony—I'm glad you like it. Thanks.
Shirley—I'd like to see the original one in Japan! Thanks.
Linda, Fantastic! Looks like a postcard - very beautiful and peaceful.
Debi
What a great picture. I'm amazed that I thought I knew every square inch of the islands, but have never been to this particular spot.
Debi—It is a postcard moment... thank you!
Myri—This spot is tucked away behind a very large cemetary. If you don't know about it you wouldn't ever find it. I'l give you the exact location if you'd like to have it. thank you.
Linda,
Very picturesque. Great composition. Looks like a painting. :)
Steve
Steve— Thank you. This is the best image from the set I shot one afternoon in November 2007.
Best—Thanks for stopping by. It is a beautiful place! I'm ready to return any time.
I love the photograph. What camera and lense did you use? It looks like its HD.
I used an HP945 (with it's built-in zoom lens). This was part of a series when I first started with digital photography. I'm using a new camera now, Nikon D300, with a variety of lenses... love it! Thanks
Linda, Thanks for sharing the details its a beautiful photo. I just start and have a Nikon D60. I love my 10-20 for real estate.
Mindy & Jay—You're welcome. Good luck with your photography. Many people have told me the Nikon D60 is a very good camera.
Everyone—Thank you for your comments as they are most welcome. Stop by on Wednesdays and Sundays to see what's knew through the lens.
Linda- I had to do a double take as I have almost the same photo, except the lighting on yours is different. Nice place and so peaceful.
Kathy—Some of us are bound to have been at the same place, but in a different time. I'm fascinated by the differences as well as the similarities people have with one another. It's a nice place to meditate.
