Tomorrow my good friend Pat and I are headed into DC. Despite all of the road closings and insanity happening around Tuesday's Inauguration we are holding the second hottest tickets in town.
Tomorrow the Oprah Show is at the Kennedy Center. Pat scored two tickets back in December and they came along with pages of instructions of what we could bring, what we should wear and rules of etiquette. The long and short of it comes down to be smart and leave everything at home except the essentials, be prepared for long lines to get through security and be prepared for some surprises.
So our friends have their recorders set for us, we are leaving home at 7:30 am so that we can deal with all of the road closures. Doors open at 10 am and we were told to be prepared to be in the Kennedy Center Opera House until 3PM.
The worst part is no camera so how am I going to blog about the madness?
