Obama has Housing PlansPaul Krugman says be SKEPTICAL of the new ideas regarding Troubled Assets (mortgages)!!

I read this about house prices, and didn't get it...

until I watched the video and looked up ROFLOL (Rolling on the Floor Laughing Out Loud).

House prices, in some areas, still have quite a ways to DROP.Housing Bills Are Coming!

Have you looked at the New Housing Bills that will be debated later this week?

Here's a pretty good consolidation of the Bills... We should be watching these.

And that's what I'm reading today, besides the weather forecast!... It's suppose to S-N-O-W here tomorrow!  HotDawg!

Hi Eleanor - The TARP and proposals associated with it remind me of Pigpen in Charles Schultz' cartoons - just this endless cloud of dirt and smell (smoke & mirrors?)...

Eleanor,
Nothing like the S word to get us excited, is there?  We're supposed to get it here too though I am a little skeptical---the weatherman has promised too many times and not delivered!

If snow were a big event we would be national news every day. I have no confidence that the programs will have much affect on our market we need to get out of it on our own.

I know two things. 1. The sun will come up tomorrow and 2. Congress will do their best to assure us it is their action that caused the sun rise. OOOPS actually three... there are way too many people out there that will actually believe that Confgress had a role in the sun rise.

Eleanor, and snow it did. Thanks for the link to legislation in the works. The bill on guidance for accounting standards is something that needs to be addressed. "Mark to Market" accounting exacerbated the financial crisis in the fall.

Eleanor, Always a good read, thank you.  We had snow on Saturday night, 6 inches.  They said don't worry about Sunday night into Monday, it will be less than an inch, probably a dusting.  Well, we woke up to 6 more inches of snow.  You couldn't even tell that the driveway was ever plowed. LOL!  The weathermen are similar to the policitians.  I am sure that they voted themselves a pay raise this year.  Won't it be interesting to see what they do now?  No, I don't count on the weather reports or the politicians.  I know this, people will always be buying and selling houses.  Moving because of jobs, family or other reasons.  They will be moving and needing a good Realtor and Banker.  We'll be ready when they call:)

It's a Good Life!

Leave it to government & you'll understand what the "snow" in "snow job" is all about.  Cynical?  Me?  Naww...
